A Birthday Party Turns Into a High-Stakes International Murder Case... Liz Harmon knows how to throw a great party. The house is full of guests, and everyone is drinking, talking, and having a wonderful time. But the mood suddenly changes just after midnight, when Liz staggers out onto the deck with her hand pressed to her side, a fatal wound spurting blood between her fingers. Emergency responders determine that Liz has been stabbed to death. Investigators find a knife with two sets of fingerprints, and through the FBI database, one set of prints is identified as belonging to a person in an international crime organization with offices throughout Europe. Sheriff Shane Griffin and Deputy Virgil Slate of Slope City, will cooperate with Alan Park FBI, who is in charge of the oversees investigation. Evidence is uncovered to tell the investigators that Sweden will be the site of an organized crime meeting, and Griffin is determined not to let the opportunity pass by. "I am going to be there," Griffin tells Park. Will the investigators be able to work together to bring the murderer to justice, or will personal agendas and ambition get in the way?
